Trains and snow

As I'm writing this I'm sitting on a train, going through the snowy Swedish landscape. I really like train rides. Listening to music while letting your thoughts wander wherever they like, drowsily watching the world go by outside the window. This Sweden trip has given me a lot to think about. But I'll tell you more about that later.

Now I just wanted to tell you that I've had a great time in my homeland so far. First stop was Uppsala, where I played board games with friends, played samba and fed the ducks by the frozen river.

After that, a quite troublesome train ride took me to my mum's house in the countryside, where I met my brothers and we swapped late Christmas gifts. We went to see my cousin, who I very rarely see, and celebrated her son's seventh birthday. And I spent the night at my best friend's place, watching movies and talking.

Now I'm on my way to see my dad and his fiancé, as well as my sister and my youngest brother. I've been everywhere on this trip, but I'm really happy that I've gotten to see so many people. And I just can't get over how much snow there is!

Sweden, you're beautiful.
